Hi Jacqui,

This post arrive just at the perfect time for me – Thank you Jacqui for creating this web site and for giving us opportunity to read some of your wisdomfull stories.
After years of feeling ‘sorry’ for my mother’s life and trying to do everything to compensate for her losses , I have lost decades of my own life. Now ,that she’s next to me physically, I have realized she isn’t where she wants to be. Her heart is with my brother who made her a victim in every possible way,and she missing that roll’ badly. Unfortunately, she also suffer from Parkinson D. and things are getting worse because of that.
After reading your post I start to think if my mother has NMD that I couldn’t notice because of my own emotional blindness ? Her behavior is much as you have described above , however her mood swing is just so quick that I hardly can get the chance to think about Why’s or How’s …. I’m sincerely concern about Her health ,My self (living with Her) and How to make it work for both of us. It may sound silly, but I need some advice if possible.
